Joint Causal Inference from Multiple Contexts
What this work does
Pools datasets while explicitly representing their contexts as variables, then supplies context-to-system background constraints to suitable causal-discovery algorithms.
Connection to discovery
Provides a representation for accumulated experiments with heterogeneous interventions rather than treating all samples as exchangeable observational data.
Evidence
The inspected framework includes cyclic and latent-confounded settings, algorithm-specific soundness discussion and synthetic evaluations of context encoding and tests.
Scope and limitations
JCI is a framework, not one algorithm. Exogeneity and other context assumptions, independence tests and algorithm choices determine which causal claims follow.
