When Is Enough Enough in Self-Evolving LLM Systems?

What this work does

Develops an anytime-valid detector for deciding when iterative self-evolution should stop and a change-point method for selecting an earlier artifact when late updates overfit. Reported experiments substantially reduce compute while preserving unseen-test performance.
