Test-Time Training with Next-Token Prediction
What this work does
Shapes selected MLP projections for next-context-state supervision and fits a prompt-specific fast-weight perturbation by ridge regression before generation.
Connection to discovery
An architectural memory/adaptation comparison for keeping long research evidence usable, separate from reward-driven agent learning.
Evidence
Inspected the inference patch/restore equations and the explicit statement that the regression relies on TTT-NTP pretraining of the projection.
Scope and limitations
The body describes adaptation-oriented pretraining; it should not be interpreted as an arbitrary unmodified-checkpoint update. Long-context gains do not establish better experimental discovery.
